Design Disadvantages - Above Ground Swimming Pools
In exchange for an affordable pool solution, the surface area, depth and aesthetic value are somewhat compromised by comparison to all other swimming pool types.
Lower quality than other swimming pools, above ground pools are more prone to breaking, chemical imbalance and structural failure. The pool depth is often constant at three, four or five foot depths and deep ends are uncommon. Better suited to smaller children, above ground pools may leave larger bathers longing for more space and deeper water.
